We pride ourselves with being able to offer hands on and personal training programs to support all of our UAV products and client’s operations. We have a vast amount of experience teaching individuals from all walks of life and organizations in a vast number of industries since 2011, who generally have never flow a fixed wing drone before. Hands-on flight trainings normally are conducted all year round, but most frequently between March to December. However we normally accommodate to our client’s schedule and needs. We even customize our training sessions to the length and characteristics that best reach the customers goals, like emphasizing certain aspects of the UAV program of the clients such as: operations addressing specific terrain or location challenges, special mission profiles, different payload and procedures, search & observation Vs. mapping, weather and permits.
For our Canadian clients we also assist the client in obtaining Transport Canada permits by providing them with tips, forms, information that speed facilitate the process.
In a training session we typically cover UAV system familiarization, flight planning, weather and terrain considerations, live flying, launching and recovery and image and data acquisition. We like to do a day in the classroom and a day in the field, flying, but we are happy to accommodate your needs if you would prefer more time and practice. Additionally, we offer online training, which can save a significant amount of time and money while still covering the same areas.
Training certificates are normally provided upon completion of the training session.
“I’m a small girl and was concerned as to whether I would be able to launch the drone correctly. Mauricio and the team put my mind at ease and patiently took me through the process. I now fly the Amphibious Talon with my research team out in the ocean. We are all thrilled!”
