Enabling PPK Capabilities For The Aeromappers

Aeromao is proud to offer a fully tested onboard GNSS-PPK system, which allows for exceptionally accurate post-processing and post-processed kinematic workflows. Flights with GCPs (ground control points) give accuracy, but are very labor and time intensive to set out, especially over large areas or difficult terrain. We are able to offer a solution which produces […]

Marsrobotic Uses An Aeromapper Talon Base UAV System

Traditionally, surveying of landscapes, be it natural or the built environment, was done using land-based surveying methods and flight transects were considered costly and sometimes dangerous. A GIS and remote sensing team from Al al-Bayt University and MARSRobotics®, Jordan, explored the use of our Aeromapper UAV as a tool for object-based classification using high spatial […]

Talon Fully Autonomous Belly Landing

In addition to the parachute system as the standard (and simplest) method to recover the UAV, the Aeromapper Talon also belly lands autonomously perfectly everytime, even in very strong cross-winds. The only downside to this method is that it requires more space clear of obstacles than a parachute recovery. During a parachute recovery, normally a […]
